Q: Is there tutoring on the weekends?

A: No, tutoring sessions are only conducted during the LSC office hours, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday between 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Wednesdays between 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. 

Q: What if there is no tutoring for a class I'm taking? May I request a tutor?

A: Yes, you may request a tutor for your subject by submitting a form to the LSC staff.

Q: How long does it take to find a tutor after I've filled out a Tutor Request at the front desk?

A: The tutor search and hiring process takes about three weeks.  However, depending on the subject, tutors may be difficult to find. If we cannot find a tutor for you within three weeks, we encourage you to ask your classmates and friends to come to the LSC and become a paid tutor for you.
