Eligibility for Summer Aid
The type and amount of financial aid available for attending summer session depends on your need as determined using the information on your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), your summer enrollment, and available funding. If you are eligible for a summer financial aid fee postponement, you will receive a notice on AidLink.
To be considered for financial aid to attend summer session, you must:
- file a FAFSA for the 2019-20 and 2020-21 year and have been awarded for both years
- be a continuing student from the 2019-20 academic year, or a new student who will enroll at SDSU for the fall 2020 semester
- be making Satisfactory Academic Progress, as defined by the Office of Financial Aid & Scholarships, as a result of your cumulative units and grades during the summer 2019, fall 2019, and spring 2020 semesters
