2024 Higher Education Mobile Crisis Teams Symposium; Lessons Learned: Where do we go from here?

July 18-19, 2024 | San Diego State University

The San Diego State University Police Department and the Psychiatric Crisis
Assessment Support Team (P-CAST) are delighted to present the Higher Education
Mobile Crisis Teams Symposium at San Diego State University on July 18th and 19th, 2024. We will be exploring “Lessons Learned” from crisis teams around the country and the next steps to further develop our respective programs.

We invite all institutions of higher education who have developed or are in the process of developing a Mobile Crisis Team to come share knowledge and learn from each other. All professions involved in these efforts, including mental health clinicians, law enforcement, and administrators are welcome.

We have the capacity to host 100 people and encourage teams of up to 3 members to
accommodate as many teams as possible. Attendees can expect keynote speakers, individual presentations, panel discussions, and networking opportunities all intended to enhance capacity to provide mobile crisis services in a college/university setting.

We also want to thank and acknowledge our collaborators from California State
University, San Marcos (CSUSM), University of Southern California (USC), and the
University of California, San Diego (UCSD).

Parma Payne Goodall Alumni Center
